The apartment is beautifully furnished and decorated with a relaxing light and airy feel. Tabernacl is set back from the road with limited views over Church Bay and the estuary beyond.  In a bygone age Church Bay was used by the fishermen to dry their nets and moor their boats, this tradition is still followed by the local fishermen today.

Aberdovey / Aberdyfi is surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain and valley scenery to be found in Wales. Within easy reach are the renowned peaks of Cader Idris, Aran Fawddwy, Aran Benllyn, the Rhinogs, as well as the birth place of the River Severn in the imposing Plynlimon range. Both the Dovey (Dyfi) and Dysynni valleys have their own wild and rugged charm, which provides outstanding opportunities for all types of walker and wild life enthusiasts.

Entrance  - Leading to spacious open plan living/dining/kitchen area, two double bedrooms, one single bedroom & family bathroom - all on ground floor level.

Living/Dining Room - Open plan with two leather settees, cosy arm chair, wall mounted electric fire, LCD T.V freeview, DVD player, dining table with seating for six people

Kitchen - Fully fitted, with dishwasher, under counter fridge and freezer, built-under double electric oven, gas hob & microwave.

The kitchen is fully equipped for all your self-catering needs.

Bedroom 1 - Double bedroom with built in wardrobe, chest of drawers & LCD TV

Bedroom 2 - Double bedroom with ensuite, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, LCD TV 
En-suite -  Shower room with enclosed shower, hand basin and toilet

Bedroom 3 - Single bedroom with chest of drawers and small hanging space

Family Bathroom - Bath with overhead shower, wash basin & toilet

Utility Cupboard - small utility cupboard in the hallway with washer/dryer

Infant facilities - Sorry none available. Guests are very welcome to bring their own travel cot

Parking - Street parking may be available but can be very limited. There is one free car pass available in the apartment for the Aberdyfi 'pay & display' car park, 300 meters away next to the beach. (spaces are subject to availability)

Notes to guests

The road outside the property can get quite busy, please be mindful of cars appearing suddenly and be especially cautious when children are exiting the property.

There are a number of steep steps that lead up to Tabernacle's main front door and a further three large steps to enter the main building. There is an inclined path that runs up the left hand side of the building.

Free Wi-Fi is available however, the owner cannot guarantee the availability or speed of the service

What a fab place . We loved it! Complimented by lovely weather. Recommend the Britannia upstairs for a drink and view. Thanks. Also the Bistro is great too. 

Enjoyed our grandmother/mother/daughter break! The bluebells between Pennal and Machynlleth were stunning. Coffee at Y Bwtri Blasus the best. Good accommodation, wonderful sea views. The mountain road from Machynlleth to Llanidloes is awesome for views too! 

Came in 2011, finally came back for a short stay, had a great time, weather excellent and food!! Tabernacl xxxxx as usual, many thanks. 

Such lovely accommodation wonderful place to be for a relaxing few days in Aberdyfi, the estuary is beautiful.

I loved having a tv in my room. I loved when we had an ice cream. I loved having a bike ride by my house. William aged 5.
