Sea View Cottage is set overlooking the Aberdovey Beach and Dovey Estuary in what must be one of the most stunning locations in Aberdovey / Aberdyfi. The cottage was built around 1900 and belonged to the Penhelig Lodge to house their staff.  The property has recently been renovated but still retains its original character, homely comforts and its own private grounds with 3 small gardens and a private parking area.

The cottage has an air of tranquillity and relaxation; from the large bay windows you have a grandstand view of the ebb and flow of the tides whatever the weather.  ‘Lovers Lane’ runs just below the property and is a great shortcut in to the heart of the village or down to the beach.

Comments from the visitors book

Another fantastic week in this lovely cottage and location.  This is one of the best places we have stayed at. Will definitely be back.

Love the house, views are amazing, beds are cosy. Everything about this house is really great!!

Wonderful holiday in an extremely comfortable cottage, views superb. Lovely walks in Happy Valley & Artist Valley, Dolgoch Falls should not be missed. Coastal train also good value. Thank you Paul & Delyth for all the information you gave us.

Aberdovey has been an idyllic discovery!  The ever changing views, the comfort of Sea View cottage and the friendliness has made our holiday a very happy one, thank you!

Loved the cottage and the fantastic view, could watch the light changing over the estuary and sea endlessly.  Great walks in the hills & along the beach.

We came for a totally stress free, peaceful break & got just that.  The cottage is fantastic and views to die for.  Hopefully we’ll get back again.

How lucky were we, a heat wave in October. This is a comply cottage in a stunning setting, we have seen sunrises & sunsets nearly every day, first time to Aberdovey, we will defiantly return to this cottage.

What brilliant sea views indeed, plus garden comforts & hospitality, topped upped with super blue skies.  We’ll be back!
